Eventin gives you three simple ways to create a new event. You can choose the method that fits your workflow.
1. From the Form Onboarding Page #
When you install and activate Eventin for the first time, you will see an onboarding flow.
From there, you can start creating your first event using the guided form. This is useful if you are new and want a quick setup.
2. Create an Event Using AI #
You can also create an event using Artificial Intelligence. Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Eventin → Events, and click Create Event with AI.
The AI tool will help generate your event title, description, and basic details automatically.
You can review and edit everything before publishing.

3. From the Events Page (Manual Creation) #
Standard Method to Create a Single Event
Go to Eventin → Events → Add New.
This will open the event creation page, where you can add all event details manually.
Event Creation Page Overview #
After opening the event creation page, you will see a step-based layout at the top:
Basic Info → Tickets → Schedule → Advanced
You can save progress as a draft or publish the event when everything is ready.
Step 1: Basic Info #
This is where you add the core details of your event.
Event Title #
- Enter your event name in the Event Title field
- You can also generate a title using AI if needed
Description #
- Add a detailed event description using the editor
- You can format text, add links, or insert media
- AI can also help generate the description
Banner #
- Upload a banner image by dragging files or browsing
- Maximum file size is 50MB
- You can also generate a banner using AI
Event Logo #
- Upload a logo image for your event (optional)
Categories and Tags #
- Select relevant categories
- Add tags to help organize and filter events
Organizer #
- Choose an organizer from the list
- You can manage organizers separately
Speaker #
- Assign speakers to the event
- You can add or manage speakers anytime
Date, Time, and Location #
Time Zone #
- Set the event time zone (example: Asia/Dhaka)
- You can change it anytime
Start Date & Time #
- Choose when the event starts
End Date & Time #
- Choose when the event ends
Recurring Event #
- Enable recurring if the event repeats
- Otherwise, keep it as “Does not repeat”
Location #
You can select one of three options:
- Venue – Physical location
- Virtual – Online event
- Hybrid – Both physical and online
For venue events, enter the venue name and details.
Save or Publish #
At the top right:
- Click Save as Draft to continue later
- Click Publish to make the event live
