How to Add Attendee Extra Fields

The Attendee Extra Fields feature enables event organizers to collect customized information from attendees during the registration process.

This helps make the event more personalized, improves planning, and ensures better use of resources. By gathering details like dietary preferences, special requests, or session choices, organizers can better prepare, create a more tailored experience, and make the event run smoothly.

Add Addendee Extra Fileds #

The Attendee Extra Fields feature can be added both globally for all events and individually for specific events.

To add extra fields globally, go to SettingsEvent SettingsAttendeesAdditional Information Fields.

From here, click on the Add Fields button, and a popup will open where you can configure the custom fields label, types, required or not and additnal information for this field.

  • Field Label: The Field Label is the name or description displayed next to each field to inform attendees about the information being requested.
  • Field Types: You can choose from the following field types:
    • Number Input Field: For collecting numeric data like age, quantity, or ticket numbers.
    • One-line Text Field: For short, single-line responses such as names, emails, or phone numbers.
    • Select/Dropdown: For a predefined list of options from which attendees can choose one, such as session preferences or meal options.
    • Paragraph Field: For longer, multi-line responses such as special requests or comments.
    • Checkbox: Allows attendees to select one or more options from a list, like agreeing to terms or selecting multiple interests.
    • Radio: Allows attendees to choose only one option from a list, ideal for binary or single-choice questions.
    • Date: For collecting date-related information, such as a birthdate or preferred event date.
  • Field Required or Not: You can set whether the field is required or optional. If set as “required,” attendees must fill in the field before submitting their registration.
  • Additional Text Under: If you wish to provide additional details or instructions for any of these extra fields, you may add them here.

After adding all the details, click “Add Fields” button and save changes.
