Highlight Event Speaker & Organizer on Event Website #
Event Speakers and organizers are the most common attraction of an event. By highlighting your event on the event website brings engagement and drives more attendees to an event. Now, it’s easy to showcase your event speakers and organizers using the Eventin event management plugin on your event website.
Adding a Speaker Profile #
To add a speaker, go to Eventin-> Speakers and you will see an Add New button. Click on it to begin add a new speaker.
You will see a list of details you can add for your speakers such as the Name, Designation, Email, Summary, Social Links, Company Logo and Company URL. On the right-hand side, you will see an option to add Speaker Category. Once you are satisfied with the details, Click Publish and your speaker will be added to the Speaker list.
Speaker/Organizer Category #
To create Speaker Category go to Eventin -> Speakers -> Speaker Category then add the necessary details and click Add New Speaker Category. It will then be added to the list on the right. You can then add these categories to your speaker when creating your Speaker.
🔹 NOTE: You can add a category named Organizer here and assign speakers with the Organizer category which you can then list on your event page.
Speaker Slug Name & Template #
The speaker slug name and template can be accessed from your dashboard. You can edit the speaker template to choose how you want your speaker profile to be displayed on your page. Eventin Organizer #
You can choose to show your organizer by editing event details. Go to Eventin->Events->Edit Event then scroll down to find the title Organizers. Select the speaker category you want to display as the organizer.
🔹 NOTE: Your organizer list is simply the categories you added for your Speakers. So make sure you create appropriate categories for organizers to show them on your event page.
Eventin Speaker Shortcode #
You can generate a shortcode for the speaker list by going to Eventin->Settings->Shortcode->Speakers [Generate Shortcode]. Here, you can edit your preferred settings then click generate to create the shortcode. copy the shortcode and paste it to your page to see the results.
🔹 NOTE: You will find a lot more options for shortcodes to add to your page. You can also use Elementor widgets to show your speakers and organizers.
