How to Integrate Eventin with Bit Integrations

This guide will show you how to integrate Eventin with Bit Integrations to send attendee data automatically from Eventin to Bit Integrations. Once the integration is active, you can manage or forward this data to other platforms, such as Google Sheets, or perform any automation supported by Bit Integrations.

Requirements #

  • Eventin Pro is required for webhook functionality.
  • Bit Integrations Pro plugin must be installed and configured.
  • A Google Sheet setup if you want to send Eventin data to Google Sheets through Bit Integrations.

Video Tutorial #

For a detailed step-by-step walkthrough, please check out the video guide below. It demonstrates the full integration process and how to send data from Eventin to Bit Integrations, and then automatically to Google Sheets.

Integration Overview #

The integration works through webhooks. Eventin will send attendee and event data to Bit Integrations via a webhook whenever a new attendee is created (for example, when someone purchases a ticket). Bit Integrations will then process the data and can forward it to other applications like Google Sheets.

How to Connect Eventin with Bit Integrations #

To connect Eventin with Bit Integrations, you’ll need to use Eventin’s webhook feature. The webhook allows Eventin to send attendee and event-related data directly to Bit Integrations whenever a ticket purchase or attendee registration occurs. Here’s how you can set it up.

  • Go to your Eventin Settings from the WordPress dashboard.
  • Navigate to the Advanced tab and open the Webhook section.
  • Enable webhooks and click Add Webhook to create a new one.
  • In a separate tab, open your Bit Integrations Dashboard and create a new integration, and select Webhook.
  • Create a new webhook inside Bit Integrations, give it a name, then copy the webhook URL generated there.
  • Go back to Eventin and paste the copied URL into the webhook field.
  • Choose Attendee Create as the topic (this ensures that data is sent whenever a new attendee registers or a ticket is purchased).
  • Set the status to Active and save the webhook.

Testing the Connection #

  • After creating the webhook, go to Bit Integrations and click Fetch to wait for incoming data.
  • Perform a test ticket purchase in Eventin.
  • Once the order is placed, return to Bit Integrations, you should see the attendee data successfully captured.
  • This confirms that Eventin is now sending data correctly to Bit Integrations

Sending Data to Google Sheets (Optional) #

Once your Eventin data reaches Bit Integrations, you can forward it to Google Sheets or any other supported platform. Here’s how you can set it up.

  • In Bit Integrations, add a new step by clicking Set Action, then select Google Sheets.
  • Connect your Google Account (Bit Integrations may ask for API credentials; you can follow Bit Integrations’ own documentation for this step).
  • Choose your target Google Sheet and Worksheet.
  • Map Eventin attendee data (such as name, email, ticket type, price, etc.) to the respective columns.
  • Run a test, Bit Integrations will insert a new row into your Google Sheet with the attendee data received from Eventin.

Summary #

That’s it! You’ve successfully integrated Eventin with Bit Integrations. Now, whenever someone registers or purchases a ticket through Eventin, their data will automatically be sent to Bit Integrations, and from there, you can route it to Google Sheets or any other platform of your choice. For a full visual walkthrough, including testing and Google Sheet setup, please watch the video guide above. It shows every step in action.
