Access your WpCafe settings by navigating to WpCafe -> Settings in the WordPress admin area. From the ‘Key options’ you can set 3 types of settings.
(1) General Settings Options, (2) Booking Form Settings and (3) License Settings.
Let’s explore the setting in detail step-by-step. This documentation will make your restaurant website creating experience extra smooth.
General settings option contains display page, reservation close state, automatic confirm the guest number, minimum and maximum guest number, cancellation, phone number, different alert message, etc.
You can set the form display page from WpCafe settings. Go to WpCafe -> Settings -> Key options. Under this tab, you will get the ‘Display Page’ option. Click on the dropdown and select the page. Don’t forget to click on ‘Save Changes’ from the bottom of the page. If you do not find the page, check whether the page is published or not from all page options. If not, publish the page and refresh it. Note- This feature is available in WPCafe PRO only.
When do you want to stop taking new orders? Is it based on total confirm the order or total pending order? It’s up to you. WPCafe providing both options and you can set it from the WpCafe settings. Go to WpCafe -> Settings -> Key options. Under this tab, you will get the ‘Reservation close state’. Click on the dropdown and select the options. Don’t forget to click on ‘Save Changes’ from the bottom of the page. Note- This feature is available in WPCafe PRO only.
During the table reservation, the customer can define the guest number. But sometimes customers forget to define it. In that case, the default guest number comes. If your customer does not define any gust number then automatically a default guest number will be added to the reservation. And you can set this default number from the dashboard. Go to WpCafe -> Settings -> Key options -> Automatically confirmed guest no -> Select the number. Note: If you want to keep the default number zero then select >>’No auto confirmation’ from the drop-down menu. Note: Automatically confirmed guest number must be in between Minimum & Maximum guest number.
You can define the minimum and maximum guest number during restaurant reservations. To set minimum guest number, go to WpCafe -> key options -> Minimum guest number and then select the number from the dropdown box. In order to select maximum guest number, exact same ways navigate to WpCafe -> key options -> maximum guest number and then select the number from the dropdown box. Don’t forget to save the changes before closing the tab.
If you want to get all the phone numbers from the reservation then you can require a phone number from WPCafe settings. In that case, the customer will need to submit a phone number to process the reservation. To set this, go to WpCafe -> key options -> Require phone -> Click on toggle button -> Save changes.
You can allow your customer to cancel the order once they place it. Go to WpCafe -> key options -> Allow Cancellations -> Click on toggle button -> Save changes. If you allow your customers to cancel the order then at the front end, there will be a cancel button with a cancellation form.
Showing a beautiful message on a successful reservation is always positive for all the business. You can add a custom message for the customers. To set the text, go to WpCafe -> Key options -> Pending message -> Set the message from the input box and then save changes.
You can display a professional massage on the reservation confirmation page. To set the text, go to WpCafe -> Key options -> Reservation confirmed message -> Set the message from the input box and then save changes.

Go to WpCafe => Settings => Key options.
General Options: Here you can configure booking settings like minimum and maximum guest no. Automatic confirmation for a specific no of guests. You can allow booking cancellation.
Booking Form: Change the Reservation language, date and time format, reservation booking button text, add extra form field etc. from the setting.
Go to WpCafe => Settings => Reservation schedule. Here you can set a Reservation multi-slot schedule, a weekly or daily schedule. Add exception day schedule for restaurant, booking date range, and last booking time.
Go to WpCafe => Settings => Notifications . Here you can configure email notifications both for admin and client. Set email template, email address, and sender name, etc.
Go to WpCafe => Settings => Menu settings .
Food Menu Options: Here you can configure menu settings. You can allow food location popup, show cart on the site. Change the mini cart icon and set cart colors and enable layout overrides.
Discount Options: Enable discounts for menu and categories.
Go to WpCafe => Settings => Order time settings . Here you will get all order and time settings .
General Settings: Business hour label, Allow order for pickup or delivery, set pickup and delivery messages, allow pickup and delivery time from here.
Time Settings: Weekly time schedule settings for pickup and delivery.
Holiday: Pickup and delivery holidays for week days or special days.
When you change your category, event or any other options slug, your page might not working properly sometimes.
If you face this error “Page not found error“
Then Navigate to settings > permalinks and just save settings again.
